JFK met with members of the American Battlefield Monuments Commission at the White House. The members (seen below, left to right) included Admiral Thomas Cassin Kinkaid, General Jacob “Jake” Loucks Devers, and Leslie L. Biffle. Kennedy was briefed on plans for the Manila American Cemetery of Global City, Taguig, Phillippines.
