JFK gives prepared remarks via a telephone call to Secretary of the Interior Stewart Udall to celebrate the opening of the Yolo deep water channel in Sacramento, California.
Kennedy speaks for 3:04 and is clearly reading from a script. He briefly discusses the financing bond sale of $42 million and his hope that the channel will aid and improve commerce both statewide and regionally.
