JFK arrives in New York from Boston. He makes short remarks about his upcoming trip to Paris, before going on to Vienna to meet Chairman Khrushchev.
“It is now one-thirty in Paris. I am due there at ten-thirty and I do not believe it would be a good start to keep the General waiting.”
Kennedy leaves from Idlewild Airport (now John F. Kennedy International Airport) accompanied by Jackie and thirty-three staffers.
