Thanksgiving
JFK and Jackie spent a quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving with a few friends in their Georgetown home. In the evening, JFK boarded the Caroline for the trip to Palm Beach to continue planning his administration. His plane was trailed by a DC-6 carried the press.
Late that evening, Jackie went into labor as Jack was approaching West Palm Beach airport. On landing, he went into the terminal to take a phone call to get the updates on the status of his wife and immediately boarded the press plane for the more rapid flight back to Washington. D.C.
