JFK made a quick trip from campaigning in Massachusetts to Burlington, Vermont to address a group of rural cooperatives.
During the visit he strolled down Main Street accompanied by Vermont State Senator Frederick Fayette, who was running for the United States Senate that year, and federal judge Bernard Leddy
