In the morning, JFK traveled back to Washington, D.C from his weekend attending to his political duties in Massachusetts.
At 2:30 pm he met with a Richard Preston, who was a friend of Joe Healy, to discuss industrial development issues. At 4:00 he met with Mr. Christensen to discuss Labor issues.
Never one to miss a good time socializing, JFK attended his regular Monday night dinner date with Senator Lister Hill of Alabama at 6:30 pm at the Carlyle Hotel.
