JFK is in the Capitol and is sworn in as Massachusetts’ new senator by Vice-President Alvin Barkley. Kennedy is with several other new senators and is standing next to the the Vice-President as he raises his right hand.

Kicking off his Senate career, the experienced member of Congress met with a “Mrs. Sachar” at 1:00 pm and Jane Wheeler at 8:00 pm at 2510 Foxhall Rd.
