JFK, who generally liked to be photographed, was snapped wearing sport clothes. He took his wife Jackie on a lunch date in the Senate dining room at 1:15 pm. The ever social Kennedy then finished the day by attending a cocktail reception for General Joe W. Kelly at the Army-Navy Club on 17th Street in Washington, D.C.
