February 11, 1954 (Thursday)
In the never-endingSenate life of meetings and receptions, JFK attended a meeting in room F-82 on “government operations”.
At noon he was photographed with Cub scouts, presented a scout button, and met with Mike Patrone. At 1:15 he had a telephone appointment with Ben Wood.
At 3 pm he did a tape recording with WEEI. Afterwards he stopped by a meeting of the Boston Market Gardners Association.
And then from 6 pm to 8 pm, JFK (who admired accomplished and talented people) attended a reception at the New Zealand Embassy at 16 Observatory Rd., NW for famed Everest summitter Dr. Edmund and and his wife Lady Hillary.
