JFK was in his Senate office today and ate lunch at his usual 1:00 to 1:15 pm time slot when he was dining with a companion. This day he ate with a Mr. Ross.

At 4:30 pm he took part in the Washington Spotlight hosted by Marquis Child with the subject being the role of the businessman in Washington.

Evelyn Lincoln entered a 6:00 pm notation in his scheduling book for “Hay-Adams.”

JFK finished his day by attending a black tie dinner hosted by Mrs. Truxton Beale at the Decatur House at 748 Lafayette Square.
