Squadron 14 Return
JFK received yet another set of orders instructing him to report to Jacksonville and Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron 14 instead of the recently issued order to report Melville, Rhode Island and Squadron 4.
The young naval officer, who was keen to action, was dismayed to find out that Squadron 14 was scheduled to guard the Panama Canal.
