Address

JFK was in Massachusetts and gave an address to the public. This was considered to be the first step in his run for a Congressional House seat in the 1946 elections and the unofficial start of his political career. There was much excitement in the family over the start to Jack’s political career, diminished only by the fact that favorite sister Kick was not able to return to the US from London in time to witness it.
