Chamberlain declares war on Germany
JFK goes to House of Commons and listens from the visitors gallery as Neville Chamberlain declares war on Germany. He is accompanied by his mother Rose and siblings Joe, Jr. and Kick as Chamberlain states,
“Everything that I have worked for, everything that I have hoped for, everything that I have believed in during my public life has crashed in ruins.”
On the way back to the Embassy from Parliament, the air raid sirens began to sound and Jack and his family ran for shelter and ended up in the basement of Molyneux.
