JFK, fresh from his summer in England and travel on the Continent, published an editorial in the Harvard Crimson urging a stop to the fighting in Europe, through a negotiated settlement that he suggested should be led by President Roosevelt.
While showing a misunderstanding of the underlying Nazi intentions, Jack seemed to enjoy discussing and dissecting pressing political questions and to question the prevailing opinion on a subject.
