Christmas prognostications
JFK was in Palm Beach for Christmas Day and listened to his father’s prognostications about what he deemed was the futile position of the United Kingdom in it’s fight against the Axis powers. Joe, Sr., had sought and obtained a note from Dr. Lahey saying he should be in the States for an extended period during and after the Christmas holiday season.
