Catching
JFK wrote Lem Billings, catching him up on his new life at Stanford,
“... [I am] well, very well settled here. Have my own cottage on campus + living very well. Have met alot of people and they are all very friendly – quite a change from the East. Still can’t get used to the Co-eds but am taking them in my stride. Expect to cut one out of the herd + brand her shortly, but am taking it very slow as do not want to be known as the beast of the East.”
