JFK registered for the draft on the campus of Stanford University.

The Stanford daily newspaper publishes an interview with JFK. He states that one of the reasons that he liked the campus was that there were women also on campus, unlike Harvard which was not coed. Among the co-eds on the Palo Alto campus that fall was his sister Eunice. He also mentioned in the interview that another positive about Stanford was that the former student body president was his older brother Joe’s Harvard law school roommate Tom Killefer.
