The image of Secret Service agent Clint Hill jumping onto the back of the presidential limousine moments after John F. Kennedy was struck by bullets in Dealey Plaza is etched into history.
Hill was riding in the Secret Service follow car immediately behind the Presidential limousine. Upon hearing the gunshots, he sprinted for the back of Kennedy limousine, ignoring an order from Secret Service agent Emory P. Roberts, who was in command of the vehicle Hill was in.
Hill admired and respected the Kennedy family and by all accounts, these feelings were reciprocated.

Why in the world would agent Emory P. Roberts tell these agents and Clint Hill to not do their duty ? Why wasn’t
agent Emory P. Roberts tried for incompetence at the least and/or an accomplice to the deed, Why didn’t agent Kellerman jump over the seat to shield the president? What a terrible shame.
