A political refugee, Lowe had been hired in 1958 by Bobby Kennedy to shoot an album of the organized chaos that was life at the Kennedy compound. Lowe reported that when he showed up for the first of many camera sessions, he found JFK, &#8220;grumpy, awkward, and preoccupied.&#8221; However, reportedly JFK perked up when the photographer suggested that they include Caroline in the shoot.<\/p>\n<p>Lowe, only 28 years old when he began work for the Kennedy family, would go on to shoot some of the most iconic John F.
