Long-time Kennedy aide Lawrence “Larry” O’brien was born in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1917.
Larry O’brien was an experienced political operative when he hired on as a staff member for JFK’s 1952 Senate Campaign, having worked for two elections and then as a staff member for Congressman Foster Furcola
