JFK was a frequent and long-term patient at the Lahey Clinic, seeing physicians ranging from Dr. Sara Jordan for his gastrointestinal problems to orthopedic surgeons for his chronic backache.
From 1923 to 1978, the Lahey Clinic was located in a brick building at 605 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. The current location is in Burlington, Massachusetts.
