JFK, his mother Rose, and sisters Pat (who worked in the television business in New York City) and Eunice appeared on WNAC-TV out of Boston in a program titled Coffee with the Kennedys to campaign for the Senate election contest to be held the next month.
Kennedy answered phone-in questions and Rose talked about her child-rearing philosophy, apparently even going so far as to pull out index cards she had kept on each of her children as they were growing up.
The show also featured young women with the words John F. Kennedy embroided on flouncy skirts.
