November 24, 1938 (Thanksgiving Thursday)
JFK spent this Thanksgiving with his family at the United States Ambassador’s residence at 14 Princes Gate on the edge of Hyde Park in London.
He ate a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and was joined by his family, the Edward Moores, Arthur Houghton, and two guests of the family – Misses Dunn and Hennessey.
After dinner, JFK went to the movies and then accompanied his parents to the Dorchester club for the official Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the ambassador.
