Justice
JFK wrote a two paragraph essay titled Justice for Mr. Tinker’s English V class,
We read in the news-paper, periodicals and most of the other products of the printing press; we hear from pulpits, soap-boxes and other numerous locations that orators choose: about the word justice. Justice is pictured as a lady holding scales in her hand on which is weighed right and wrong. Always is the word linked with God until it has come to have an almost synonymous meaning. But, should this be so? To quote Webster Justice means “The rendering to everyone is his just due.” But does God render to everyone his just due?
