JFK is iniated into the Spee final club, along with seven other Harvard students. This is a crowning achievement of Kennedy’s college years and he was often at the Spee building, where he took his breakfast every day.
It is unknown what the actual induction ceremony consisted of but some biographers have speculated that it was in effect a hazing ritual. Apparently it also included swearing an oath to aid other club members whenever possible.
